Dr. Garry was born and raised in New York. He was a scholar in Medicine at Stony Brook’s school of medicine and graduated with added distinction in research. He then moved to Boston where he did his Internal Medicine training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Harvard Medical School. While at BIDMC he received the Dr. James Tullis award for intellectual growth. Dr. Garry did his Geriatric Fellowship at Harvard Medical School and upon completion joined the faculty at BIDMC and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Garry serves as medical director for two assisted living facilities and a home care company. He is the subsection chief of geriatrics at Naples Community Hospital. He was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush as an expert to the Agency of Health Care Administration and is an associate professor at University of Central Florida.
Dr. Ronald T. Garry Full Biography
Dr. Whitney was born in Michigan and grew up in a big family in Austin, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology, Masters Degree in Public Health and MD all from the University of Texas. She then trained in Internal Medicine in the world’s largest medical center at Baylor College of Medicine. Additionally, she studied tropical medicine in Mumbai, India and did graduate research work in tuberculosis and West Nile Virus. She began her career as a hospitalist in the top-rated hospital in Texas, Houston Methodist Hospital, and later switched to work in primary care after the birth of her second daughter. Dr. Whitney enjoys both the intellectual challenge of staying current with the ever-evolving, broad field of internal medicine and the human side of developing long-term partnerships with her patients to help them attain their optimal state of health.
In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her husband and 2 daughters, cooking, attending concerts and traveling any chance she can.
